1. What is the Worldchefs Congress & Expo?

Worldchefs Congress & Expo is the biennial event for industry leaders and culinary innovators. An international event, Congress brings together 5,000 chefs and celebrated voices in gastronomy for a dynamic four-day forum designed to transform an industry into an inspired community. A platform for exchange, attendees help shape future trends through diverse expert workshops and educational programs, an international trade exhibition, and Worldchefs preeminent culinary competition, the Global Chefs Challenge.

2. What formats are included in the event?

The event format is diverse and features:

Expert presentations and workshops;
Panel discussions of global issues;
An international exposition of hospitality products, professional opportunities,and more;
Master classes, demonstrations, interactive sessions, and more presented by world renowned chefs and restaurateurs;
Worldchefs premier culinary competition, the Global Chefs Challenge Final, the with top teams from around the globe going head to head for gold;
Networking events and evening receptions.

The event will be held 30 May to 2 June 2022.

Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2022 will be held at the award-winning Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

14. What is on the Congress program?

16. How many chefs will take part in the Congress, and what countries will they represent?

Representatives of more than 105 attend Congress. The expected number of participants is 5,000.

17. What nominations will be featured in the competitive part of the program?

The Global Chefs Challenge is where the world’s top chefs meet to compete in three competition categories: the Global Chefs Challenge, the Global Pastry Chefs Challenge, and the Global Young Chefs Challenge. Learn more in the Global Chefs Challenge section.
