In May 2008 The Emirates Culinary Guild hosted the Worldchefs’ Congress in Dubai, in May 2022 we are proud to bring the congress back to the Middle east and Africa region to the capital city of the United Arab Emirates ,Abu Dhabi. The congress promises to be the first big gathering of worldchefs members after the pandemic that has brought our industry to a grinding holt, and will be a celebration of our industry by show casing the best the chefs industry and hospitality, coupled with the global chef challenge, the Expo Culinaire exhibition and 4 days or speakers ad experiences, 2022 Congress will be one not to be missed by anyone involved or interested in the hospitality and culinary industry, it is open to all and all are welcome to Abu Dhabi in 2022.
As the past Congress Chairman for the past 3 Congress’s and with that experinace, I can promise as Emirate culinary Guild Congress organizer, you are all in for a great show.

The Worldchefs Congress & Expo in Malaysia was a very memorable experience for me. I had a great time meeting people and networking. Those four days were planned very well and gave us exposure to interact, cook and learn many things. Sessions such as tea inspired gastronomy, and those hosted by chefs Alvin Leung and Richmond Lim were fascinating! We also had an opportunity to visit the markets and try local cuisine. It was a wonderful experience altogether.

The Malaysian Young Chefs' team were very energetic and cooperative. We made some terrific friends, and I am looking forward to meeting them again at Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2021 in Abu Dhabi.

In 2018, the Emirates Culinary Guild (EGC) had given me the privilege of attending Worldchefs Congress & Expo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In a four-day event, we had an opportunity to visit the Malaysian market, attend authentic Malaysian cooking sessions at Sunway University, and participate in several informative sessions by world renowned chefs. It was an experience of a lifetime. I got to meet people from different ethnicities and cultures and interact with other Young Chefs from across the globe to make meaningful connections.
We networked with many experienced chefs and learned from their life experiences. I was also fortunate to meet Chef Charles Carroll and be part of his podcast on food wastage in the industry and how to prevent it. It was a splendid experience!

I want to thank the ECG for this opportunity and look forward to the upcoming Worldchefs Congress & Expo in Abu Dhabi 2021.
